SCL 3: Next-Gen Logistics: Digital Tools and Smart Operations for MSMEs *FTEB Accredited

About This Course
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Globally, logistics operations are rapidly evolving through digital technologies often referred to as Logistics 4.0. Digital systems such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms help businesses improve inventory visibility, optimize delivery routes, monitor transport conditions, and strengthen coordination across logistics partners. These tools also support real-time decision making, data-driven forecasting, and more efficient warehouse and transport operations (McKinsey & Company, 2021).
This training, “Next-Gen Logistics: Digital Tools and Smart Operations for MSMEs” is designed to address these challenges by providing a practical and structured introduction to digital logistics concepts. The program helps participants understand the fundamentals of logistics operations, recognize inefficiencies and operational risks, and explore how digital tools such as WMS, TMS, ERP integration, tracking technologies, and basic artificial intelligence applications can support logistics operations. Through guided discussions, scenario-based activities, and readiness assessments, the training supports MSMEs in building awareness, confidence, and preparedness for gradual and sustainable digital logistics adoption.
